Two Week Look Ahead

 

DODGE FITNESS CENTER IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS THROUGHOUT ENTIRE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT AND IS UNAFFECTED BY CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY

 

Week of May 14, 2007 –

·         Earth removal continues throughout project site.  Noise and dust conditions anticipated.

 

·         Hand excavation work under driveway. Noise and dust conditions anticipated.

 

·         Electrical Duct Bank Work in Pupin Hall and Service Tunnel.

 

·         Teacher’s College will close West 120th Street between Broadway and Amsterdam Avenue on May 15th and May 16th.

 

·         May 15th – work at NW site and Tunnel ceases after 12 noon. Work at Pupin 100 and Service Tunnel will continue all day.

 

·         May 16th – No construction activity.

 

·         May 17th - work at NW site and Tunnel ceases after 12 noon. Work at Pupin 100 and Service Tunnel will continue all day.

 

·         May 18th – All work activity resumes.

 

Week of May 21, 2007 –

·         Earth removal continues. Noise and dust conditions anticipated.

 

·         Rock Chopping continues.

 

·         Hand excavation work under driveway (119th & Broadway).

 

·         Electrical Duct Bank Work in Pupin Hall and Service Tunnel.

 

 

FUTURE TBD – Site Fence Construction Revision

 

·         Broadway – Jersey barriers added*

 

·         Broadway – 2 Metered Parking Spaces to be taken off line*

 

·         Broadway – Portion of Sidewalk will be closed*

 

·         Broadway – Bus Stop Relocated to NE corner (M104, M4, M60)*

 

* Pending NYC Department of Transportation direction
