Two Week Look Ahead

 

GENERAL NOT:  DODGE FITNESS CENTER ’s FACILITIES REMAIN OPEN AND OPERATING THROUGHOUT OUR CONSTRUCTION.  However, Levien Gymnasium (basketball courts) will be closed due to overhead construction until September 1, 2008.

 

 

Tower Crane has final DOB sign-off. Saturday work permits have been requested through August 4, 2008

 

 

Week of July 7th, 2008 –

 

 

·         Steel Erection – Trusses and building steel at North Tower – Some pedestrian and traffic disruption

 

·         Welding work at trusses – Some noise

 

·         Concrete placement at sub-cellar and upper floor decks – some noise

 

·         Campus Utilities Work in CEPSR, Pupin, Dodge and the North Service Tunnel – Some noise and dust.

 

 

Week of July 14th, 2008 –

 

 

·         Steel Erection – Trusses and building steel at north tower - Some traffic

 

·         Sliding of trusses into final position – some noise

 

·         Concrete placement – some noise

 

·         Campus Utilities Work in CEPSR, Pupin, Dodge and the North Service Tunnel – Some noise and dust.
