Columbia University Morningside CampusNorthwest Science Project (3030 Broadway) Two Week Look Ahead DODGE FITNESS CENTER IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS THROUGHOUT ENTIRE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT AND IS UNAFFECTED BY CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY
Week of December 24th, 2007 –
· Rock Chopping at foundation on 119th Bway - *majority of intermittent work during morning hours. Chopping expected to continue until 6:00 p.m. each evening. · Demolition & Removal of concrete on Dodge Gym roof. · Installing rebar & pouring concrete.
· Floor penetrations @ Dodge. · West façade penetrations at Dodge mezzanine.
Week of January 2nd, 2007 – · Rock Chopping - *majority of intermittent work during morning hours. Chopping expected to continue until 6:00 p.m. each evening. · Removal of 119th St. gates – reinstallation of temporary gates west of existing gates. · Temporary egress stairs. · Excavation of footings on Broadway. · Dodge Roof/Tennis Court demolition. · Demolition/Removal of stonework on Broadway Façade of Dodge. · Relocation of utilities on Bway & 119th. · Repairing of Probes in Chandler & Pupin Halls.
NOTE: · DOT has relocated the M60 bus stop from 120th & Broadway to 119th & Broadway. · DOT has re-located the M104 and M4 bus stop from the south corner of 120 & Bway to the northeast corner of 120th & Broadway Northwest Science Building up-dates can be found on the Neighbors Website (www.neighbors.columbia.edu) under construction projects.
