03/19/2007 : Two Week Look Ahead

Week of March 19th, 2007 -

·        Mobilization Begins – contractor on job site.

·        Safety Zone Established / site fence construction.

·        120th Street – Sidewalk will be partially closed -

    • 8 metered parking spaces will be taken off line.

·        Broadway - Jersey barricades added in parking lane –

    •        2 metered parking spaces taken off line – portion of sidewalk closed. 

·        Tree Removal - Saturday, March 24th.

·        Levien Gymasium – north egress (to 120th Street) closed.

·        Construction manager field offices established.

·        Select demolition of fence and courtyard.

·        Earth removal begins for eastern portion of project site.

Week of March 26, 2007 -

·        Sound mitigation added to windows on west side of Pupin Hall.

·        Earth removal continues.

     Bus stop relocated to north of West 120th Street.
