Minority, Women and Local Construction Opportunity Forum

Columbia University, Turner Construction and the Harlem Business Alliance cordially invite you to attend a Minority, Women and Local Business Enterprise (MWLBE) Construction Opportunity Forum to discuss participation opportunities at Columbia’s new science building on its Morningside campus.  This Opportunity Forum will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at the Harlem State Office Building (163 West 125th Street), in the 2nd floor Art Gallery.  The event begins promptly at 8:00 a.m. and concludes at 10:00 a.m.  Doors will open at 7:45 a.m.

 

Representatives from Columbia University and Turner Construction will present this new construction project and discuss opportunities for MWLBE participation.  Columbia University and Turner construction seek to meet with experienced, certified, union affiliated construction-related trade firms and Harlem-based, minority and women-owned business owners.  In addition, representatives from the New York City Department of Small Business Services will present information on how to attain Minority/Women Business Enterprise certification.
